I'm thinking "melodic metal" is probably more the correct genre for the band now, but that is a particular. I joined this band at the beginning of this year after they had spent some time looking for a new singer. There are poor-quality recordings online of the band with its former singer including some live videos on youtube (here's a link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crotEp7wIwk).

Since joining the band I have been tasked with writing new lyrics for all the songs for the new EP (4 down of 7), I'm still writing. I bring clean vocals with an occasional lyrical touch (I take lessons but I don't live illusions that I'm some great singer, I'm not trying to be the next Tarja, Simone etc or anything), while our bassist provides growls on some of the songs.

Sadly I can not provide you with any samples of the band and my singing as of yet since it is something we are currently working on. In September our keyboard player relocated to southern France for employment and we have since been looking for a new one.

This makes recording a bit trickier, but our drummer and a friend have been doing their best to record the keyboard parts so that we can record the EP and soon (hopefully) release at least one online demo track.
